My Apartment Has a No-Pet Policy - Where Can I Get a Legit ESA Letter?

Post by richardmoyer »

I recently moved into a rental apartment that has a strict no-pet policy, but my pet has become an important source of emotional support for me while dealing with depression and difficult days. Having my pet around helps me feel more comfortable and supported, so I’ve been trying to understand my options and whether an ESA letter could help me keep my companion while following the proper housing guidelines.

I started looking into the ESA letter process, but I found a lot of confusing information online. I learned that an ESA letter should come after an evaluation with a licensed mental health professional and that it’s important to use a legitimate service rather than looking for quick approvals.

While researching, I started looking into My ESA Therapist to better understand how ESA evaluations work and what steps renters should consider before requesting housing accommodations.

I’m curious to hear from others who have been in a similar situation - if your apartment had a no-pet policy and you were dealing with depression or anxiety, how did you handle it? Where did you get your ESA letter, and what was your experience with the process?
